New Picture I drew a new picture of a catgirl today while I was at work. I plan on working with Paint Shop Pro to get her colorized, but I put up a scan of the black and white pencil drawing in my pictures area. Or you can click here to see it.

DSL Daryl found out today that my dad can get DSL from Bellsouth. Excited, of course, he called Bellsouth to find out what we can do to get hooked up. They said we can't get DSL. Why? No one could tell us. We just weren't "in the system" or some such rubbish. My dad lives less than a mile down the street from us and they can get it. We live in one of the two large apartment complexes, on the same street as the other large apartment complex, and we can't get it. How much sense does this make? Pardon me while I go bang my head on the wall...

High Speed I'm sitting at the downtown Nashville Public Library right now at a public computer and lusting after the oh-so-fast high speed connection. How depressing. This is what I get for living out in the sticks where there's no cable or DSL available. Oh and as a side note, the guy next to me must have bathed in his colone and I'm having to breath through my mouth to keep from passing out from the fumes. Seriously. It's making me sick. Ugh. Time to try my psychic powers of suggestion. "Leave... leave now... " Damn. It's not working. I think I'm going to die.

Oh, and on another side note, my car is working again! It turned out that the new filter our mechanic put in on my Saturn was... well... crap. As soon as a little stress was put on it, it burst out both sides and all the fluid gushed out. He said that when he was working on my car, thinking that it was a bad hose, that he put new fluid in and had his son turn on the car to see where it was leaking out. When his son turned on the car, he quickly discovered that it was the filter when it came spraying out of my car and gave him a transmission fluid bath. When I heard about this I cracked up. I wish I could've seen it. Anyway, we got it an official Saturn filter and now all's well.

My Car broke down yesterday. I was driving up a hill, gave it a little gas, and suddenly it slipped into neutral and wouldn't go anywhere. Wonderful. Just wonderful. We got it to the side of the road and got out and it's leaking this red stuff all over the road. It looked like my car is bleeding. General consensus seems to be that a hose burst and leaked out all my transmission fluid. Ick. I hope that's all it is.
