Return of the Useless Blob! The site that hosted the useless blob and the 100 percent Useless Personality Quiz Thingie took down the images to save on bandwidth, so I uploaded them to my own site, but am leaving the links to that persons page, so no one thinks they are mine. Do NOT link to them on my page, please, as I don't wish to have the same bandwidth issues she had, and would be forced to take them down as well. Thanks.

Santa Today at work I listed to a couple of people talk about how they found out Santa wasn't real when they were kids. I don't really remember how I found out. Maybe I heard some kids at school say it, or ask me if I "still believed" in him or something. I do remember asking my mother if it was true he wasn't real, and crying. I remember my parents telling me about how when I was around one year old, how they took me to get my picture taken on Santa's lap, and he scared me, and I cried, and my dad had to back me up onto his lap because I wouldn't go. And I remember some years, when we lived in Charlotte, we'd drive to Tennessee to spend Christmas with my grandparents, and I'd be worried that Santa wouldn't be able to find me. And it worried me when my parents blocked the chimney of the fireplace in my grandparent's house to keep the birds from roosting in it. How could Santa get down the chimney if it's blocked? I think I finally reasoned that if he's magical enough to fit through that little tiny chimney as fat as he is, then he can unblock a chimney log enough to come down it. That was the same explaination I came up with when I wondered how Santa got into the houses of kids that didn't have fireplaces or lived in apartments or something. I would be so excited I couldn't sleep, and a lot of times I just stayed up in the bed singing Christmas songs to myself and my mom would come in after a while and tell me to stop singing and go to sleep, or Santa wouldn't come. When we moved to a house in Tennessee, we had a fireplace and it had an iron door in front of it, and I thought it was so cool to wake up Christmas morning to find that door left hanging open when it was firmly closed the night before. My dad used to write notes from "Santa" thanking me for the milk and cookies, too. It's nice thinking back and recapturing some of the joy and innocence from my childhood. It's enough to make me wish Santa *was* real, so that I could be excited and try to stay awake to hear the jingling of bells on a reindeer's harness as he flew over my house.

Stupid Signs A few months ago the state started putting up these electronic billboard type signs at various intervals over the interstates. They took *forever* doing it, and I figured they would be for traffic advisories and things like that. This weekend they *finally* got them up and running. This morning, driving to work, I pass one of those signs, and a couple miles later I run right into dead-stop traffic from the interstate being closed due to blasting for some construction. Of course, these oh so expensive signs didn't say a thing about that. All the signs have the annoying slogan "Booze It And Loose It" on them. Helpful. And about as annoying as the commercials and signs in the area that proclaim "Click It Or Ticket". Blarg.
Robbie As I was driving Sarah, my step-daughter, hither and yon for various Christmas pageants and concerts, she told me that one of her friend's mothers, one with whom she frequently spends the night, said that I shouldn't be friends with Robbie. Nevermind that he's my oldest friend, we knew each other in high school, and is pretty much the *only* friend that I ever hang out with and talk to a lot. I shouldn't have him as a friend. Not because he's gay, or anything else like that... simply because he's a *male*. This woman is so close-minded, she can't even comprehend that a female can have a male friend, especially a *married* female. She couldn't even fathom my going off and hanging out with him by myself, without my husband. What bothers me is why this woman, the mother of Sarah's friend, would be bothered by this? Does she think I'm going to cheat on my husband with my best friend? Does she think my best friend is going to "make a move" on me, after some 8 or 9 years? Or it is just one of these things that "just isn't done"... I don't know. What's kind of sad in a way is that my mother felt the same way, but to a lesser degree. She trusts Robbie, and he calls her "mom" and stuff. It just bothered her that maybe it would upset my husband. I'd say something about going off and doing something with Robbie, and she'd say something like, Doesn't that bother Daryl? And I'd say, why would it bother Daryl? It wasn't until my mother found out Robbie's gay that it stopped bothering her that I hung out with him. Maybe now she'll start worrying about Daryl hanging out with Robbie without me... Robbie still gets the biggest kick out of telling people how, on the day of my wedding, my mother came up to him and said something along the lines of "I always thought it would be you two getting married."

Christmas As I sit at work, I generally have nothing better to do than stare at the monitor, type a lot, and let my mind wander. Today, given the season and all, my mind has wandered to, you guessed it, Christmas. I'm not really thinking about anything in particular, really... just a bunch of different thoughts jammed together that probably only make sense to me. Now, I think it's possible, indeed, probable, that there was a Jesus. That he was the, literal, son of god, I'm rather dubious about. Maybe it was a philisophical thing. Didn't he say that we are *all* sons and daughters of god? Eh, I don't know. I'm certainly not an expert on these things. Anyway, so we have Christmas... this huge, consumerized, and most of all, annoying celebration of the birth of someone that only Christians believe in, yet is seemingly celebrated by one and all. Or is it... I don't really see a lot of um... NON Christians where I work and live, being that I'm in the veritible belt buckle of the bible belt, and can't throw a stick without hitting 12 Christians, and/or a church, but I don't imagine that the Jews, Muslims, Hindu's and other religions of the world generally care a great deal about Christmas. And yet, when Christmas rolls around, there's examples of it EVERYWHERE. You can't drive down the street without running into a ton of crappy, annually drug out Christmas decorations. You can't go to work or shopping or anything without coming across more people out proclaiming "Merry Christmas" to one and all, nevermind that most of them are run ragged worrying about Christmas presents, cards, parties, and are hardly very "merry" at all. And everywhere you go you're admonished with constantly ringing bells to give give give to the poor ladies in wheelchairs outside K-Mart in the freezing cold, so that people who never give a thought to the underpriviledged may feel better about themselves because they tossed a dollar in the little bucket during this, the season of giving. Stores are crowded, prices are high, people are generally cranky and stressed... all so the Christians can celebrate the birth of Jesus, when, in fact, the birth of Jesus isn't really on their minds at all, or if it is, it involves all the spiffy little programs that they are going to or participating in at their church. We have all the traditional Christmas things... trees, lights, gift giving, jolly fat men in red suits, stuffing yourself on food, and visiting family you don't want to see and haven't seen since *last* Christmas. I'm sure there's some historical significance as to why a pine tree is supposed to bring to mind Jesus's birth... after all, I'm sure there were a plethora of pine trees in Jerusalem at the time, right? And there was an abundance of happy, fat, white-bearded men in bright red suits in Jerusalem, too. But how are all these things supposed to bring to mind the poor, hard birth in a stable, of Christianity's greatest icon and probably the most well known religious figure in the world? I know when I see chincy decorations lining the streets I think of how hard Mary had it, giving birth in a stable, surrounded by animals and giving birth to a child she didn't even get to have the fun of conceiving, don't you? And I'm sure that all the non-Christians are sick to death of the constant reminders at this time of year that their religion isn't as celebrated and accepted as Christianity. Everwhere I go I see city sponsered events and decorations paid for by the city. How is this a separation of church and state? I don't see our tax dollars going to work on other, non-Christian celebrations and decorations. Where's the Hanukkuh, Ramadan or Lughnasadh decorations? No fair having state sponsored religious events, especially when they're only Christian events! Could it be construed as an un-offical declaration of Christianity as the "official" religion?
Of course, now, I don't really "celebrate" Christmas like I did when I was living at home. And generally, as a child, Christmas was just the time I got lots of fun gifts, and oh yeah, I guess that Jesus guy is kinda cool, too, cuz I'm getting gifts. Don't get me wrong here. I was raised in a Christian home, and we had the nativity, and we went to the church things, and wore little pins that proclaims "Jesus is the reason for the season" and such. But as a child, do you really care what all the fuss is about as long as you get gifts? And of course, from the time I started doing music things around six years old, Christmas became the time of Christmas performances. The best part of being in piano lessons, bands, and choirs. Where we got to sing and play all the fun Christmas carols. From the age of around 12 I was generally asked by local churches to sing Christmas songs. Even now, married, and unaffiliated with religion in general as I am, my father still gets me to sing at his church. And I do... not because I want to celebrate Jesus's birth, but because I *love* to perform and don't get much of an outlet for it anymore. We have a small tree up in our home now. I just put it up a few days ago. It's really nothing special, and it's the easiest thing to put up. It's just a small tree with fiber optic filiments all through the branches that light up and sparkle in different colors. It's really very pretty. And all I have to do is take it out of the box, fit the tree onto the stand, arrange the branches and make sure the fiber optic strands are evenly arrayed, and plug it in. Ta da. Instant festivity. We probably wouldn't even have that if it wasn't for Sarah. We have to have something to put the presents under for her, right? So we'll do the gift-giving, and we'll do the big Christmas dinner at my parents, and we'll go to the Christmas pageant at church... but it doesn't really mean anything to us in any religious way. It's just the done thing. When Sarah's grown up and my parents are too old to spend days making a huge meal that will be gone in an hour, I wonder what I'll find myself and my husband doing.
Have you read John Grisham's "Skipping Christmas"? It came out last year around this time. It's a funny short book about a well-off couple whose daughter isn't going to be home for Christmas this year. The husband's an accountant, and after looking at the outrageous amounts of money they spend on throwing a party, buying gifts, clothes, decorations, cards, the whole shebang, decides that since their daughter isn't going to be there for Christmas, they should just skip it altogether, and take all the money they *would* have spent and go on a tropical cruise instead. They decide to not go to any parties, not give or receive any gifts, not donate to the neighbourhood Christmas fund-raisers, not put up the decorations. They find out just how hard skipping Christmas is, as their neighbourhood tries to get them to join in. How will their neighbourhood win the award if they don't all have up their matching Frosties? What do you mean you're not giving to the police or firemen or boy scouts? How can you not throw your annual Christmas Eve party? I highly recommend reading it, it's quite amusing.
Well, this post has gone on quite longer than I thought. I'm not really sure what the whole point is supposed to be, but oh well, I'm sure you get the idea. I should get back to typing the meaningless drivel that constitutes my job. Merry Christmas. Bah.

Blarg It amazes me how people think that if they don't understand something, then it doesn't make sense. For example, recently, we (finally) got new computers at work. We share computers, and just sit wherever there is an available desk. So, when you log on to a computer for the first time, you have to set it up the way you like it, the desktop, sounds, email preferences and everything. When you log back onto that computer, they'll be there, but if you log onto a computer you haven't sat at yet, you have to set it up on that on. One girl couldn't figure out why she couldn't check her mail, despite the large memo's tacked into every cubicle explaining how to set up your email account on a shared PC and explaining that you have to do this on *every* computer. She hadn't set it up on her computer yet, but she just expected it to remember from... I don't know... some other computer she sat at. Apparently, computers are just supposed to be all interconnected and know her settings when she hasn't even set them up yet. When she was told she had to set up her email *every time* she sat at a computer she hasn't sat at yet, she said, "Well that just don't make sense!" Apparently everyone sitting around her agreed with her, but me. Blarg. Some people shouldn't be allowed near computers.

To the Person that Posted in My Guestbook Wow, I have so many things that come to mind to respond to these two posts in my guestbook, that I'm not even sure where to start.
I should have the shit beat out of me for posting things on my website, that I and a lot of other people find amusing. Right. Where's your reasoning for this? It's my website, I'll put on it what I want, thanks.
No, the thing that's ugly and disrespectful is YOU coming to my website and leaving ugly, pointless, and disrespectful messages on MY guestbook, without even having the balls to do it with an email address so I can even respond. And you're telling me that I'M being disrespectful? Another thing thats disrespectful are these people that lurk about on the internet and prey on people. If I'm not sitting in a cybersex chatroom, then don't fucking message me with "Hey you wanna cyber?" messages. That's disrespectful. The only reason you hate my website is because you probably are one of those people.
So I'm using html. Big deal. Lots of people use it. Why? Because I don't have the time to sit on my ass and do something more difficult that I can easily accomplish the way I have it. And you know what? Of all the hits I've had on my site, no one's had a problem with my design, until you came along and started making personal attacks to me, when I've never done a thing to you.
I didn't put my art up on here to attract people looking for new artists. I put it up here because it's something I did and it's my website. I've had compliments on it anyway, despite your proclamations, since obviously you're so knowledgable about it, right? I mean, you must be an expert, since you have nothing better to do than go around posting rude messages anonymously on stranger's websites, right? So I didn't take the time to do anything better to it using a program. Oh well. I guess I had better things to do.
I can tell you're ugly, and I haven't even seen you. Why? Because of the person inside that you showed in these messages. A nice, beautiful person would never have left such rude messages to a total stranger and then started taking personal blows at the person because they lack anything intelligent or useful to say. My husband loves me for who I am. I bet you can't say the same for yourself.
Don't tell me to go to college, when you can't even piece together a grammatically correct sentence yourself.
If you people have nothing better to do other than post conversations with people you have had with online then you do not need to live. LMAO I think your site is so fuckin stupid. You should have the shit beat out of you just for "WANTING" to make such a site with the information you have suplied to the "PUBLIC".
I should have the shit beat out of me for posting things on my website, that I and a lot of other people find amusing. Right. Where's your reasoning for this? It's my website, I'll put on it what I want, thanks.
What in your right minds made you want to make such a ugly, pointless, and down right disrespectful website?

You need some help with your xml! Oh, I'm sorry your using html. lmao :-) guess people like you dont have nothing better to do so you make sites like this eh?

Just one more thing! Can you possible make any "WORSE" art than you have already? I could do better with just a simple layout with a few layers in the GIMP! I seriously doubt u even know what the gimp is considering you dont even know how to produce a elegent website. Do you think people that are looking for new artists would even stick around to look at this piece of shit website? if you do u need some help..

Oh, you are on ugly bitch did you know that? Hope so. I dont see how your husband could lay next to such a beast like you.

Go to fuckin college or reading a book on some basic html coding cause you missed a bunch of the basic stuff here.
Don't tell me to go to college, when you can't even piece together a grammatically correct sentence yourself.

A Little EverQuest Humor Ok so I haven't made a post lately. Not that anyone reads this or cares, right? Anyway, a couple of hilarious EQ related things have been put on my guilds message board the past couple of days, so I figured, what the hell, might as well put them up here. The second one is kinda long, but it's cute, so deal with it. And don't bother reading them if you don't play EQ, cuz you will not get it. Trust me.
Do What?
Wizards do it really hard,
but they're finished just as fast,
and clerics do it with a yaulp,
a whimper and a gasp.
Warriors insist on dirty-talk
with taunting and abuse,
while bard tongue, well it wags in song
and could find better use.
Enchanters, though charming,
would rather do it with your mind
and rogues insist on pointy things,
preferably from the behind.
SKs do it with a touch,
but only once a day
and necros do it with the dead
to our general dismay.
Monks do it with hands and feet
flailing them all about,
while pallies try to lay their hands
on their squires and their mounts.
Shammies do it really slow
but rarely in human form,
and druids insist on groups of four
or at least that seems the norm.
Rangers do most everything,
often with whip in hand
and beastlords title says it all
or so discretion demands.
Mages simply view this crowd
and say with some regret:
"to hell with that, look at you all!
I'll do it with my pet!"

Do What?
Wizards do it really hard,
but they're finished just as fast,
and clerics do it with a yaulp,
a whimper and a gasp.
Warriors insist on dirty-talk
with taunting and abuse,
while bard tongue, well it wags in song
and could find better use.
Enchanters, though charming,
would rather do it with your mind
and rogues insist on pointy things,
preferably from the behind.
SKs do it with a touch,
but only once a day
and necros do it with the dead
to our general dismay.
Monks do it with hands and feet
flailing them all about,
while pallies try to lay their hands
on their squires and their mounts.
Shammies do it really slow
but rarely in human form,
and druids insist on groups of four
or at least that seems the norm.
Rangers do most everything,
often with whip in hand
and beastlords title says it all
or so discretion demands.
Mages simply view this crowd
and say with some regret:
"to hell with that, look at you all!
I'll do it with my pet!"

Bah I know I haven't posted anything in a while. I haven't really had anything too post. A lot has gone on in the world of politics, hasn't it? The president not allowing the internation court to try American peace-keepers. The removal of "under god" from our pledge. The brouhau over the income tax here in my home state. I could go on. I could say that I think the president should allow the court to try the peace-keeprs. I could say I support the removal of the phrase from the pledge, after all, that was the way it was originally written. I could say that I support an income tax, because we need the revenue, and it would lower the sales tax. But why bother? Hm... for one thing... I'm not sure if anyone even reads this but me. For another, no matter what I have to say about it, I'm sure someone, somewhere has said it much better than I ever could. My husband for one.
Well, a little update on my personal life. I'm currently at my parents house, house-sitting and grandmother watching while my parents are on vacation with my brother Robin and his three kids. I've been here since Sunday. I brought my computer with me, lest I might die of boredom. So... my parents are on vacation. Some vacation it's turned out to be for them. I got a call from my mother on Monday to tell me my father has had to go to the hospital. At the time, she didn't know what it was that was causing him the agonizing pain he was experiencing with every breath, but now I know. It seems my father had several blood clots that had formed and had gone to his lungs. Apparently, if he hadn't gotten to the hospital when he had, he could've died. As it is, he should be fine, they have him on bloodthinners, and surveillance. Too bad he's not getting to enjoy his time at the beach. It's been such a long time since he was last able to go. The rest of the week is going to go mostly as planned. The plan was, Daryl and I were going to Gatlinburg after work on Friday to meet my parents there and spend a weekend. As it is, since my father isn't getting out of the hospital until Friday at the earliest and more likely on Saturday, Daryl and I will be taking my bestest friend Robbie and the three of us will be going to the condo alone. Mom and Dad will show up whenever they can, and on Monday, Daryl or myself will be driving them home. The doctor's said my dad should be well enough to drive, but I'm sure he'd rather not. Robin will be driving them from the beach to where he lives in Gastonia, and they'll spend the night there, and Dad will drive the rest of the way to Gatlinburg, which isn't but a couple of hours from Robin's.
That's all the excitement that's been going on in my little world these days. I'm going to go play EQ now.

Cat Quotes Hello to the people from Buffy Down Under that have been coming to my website from a link someone posted to my page of cat quotes. Thanks for visiting!
Marijuana I was listening to NPR in the car with Daryl today and I heard something that I find rather ironic. If America wasn't involved in this stupid "war on drugs," pot wouldn't be nearly as strong as it is now. Because of people growing pot in their basements, they had to breed a type that wouldn't grow as tall, and would bloom faster. With the breeding of better pot that has been done throughout the years, the amount of THC has gone up from 3 percent in the 60s, to 15 percent now. So, if America had left well enough alone, people would have been smoking weak pot instead of growing and smoking even better pot. How funny.

South Park There's a website that my husband showed me that allows you to create a South Park likeness of yourself. Here's me and Daryl:

EverQuest I recently signed up with Magelo for an account. Magelo is an online profiler, where you can store the profiles of your EQ characters. It has a large database of items, and I have yet to come across something I had that wasn't in the database. It's an easy way for your friends to see your items, for you guild to keep track of members, especially if they have a large guild bank that they loan items out of, and for you to keep track of all your characters items, skills, and languages. So far, I've set one up for my druid, Willowsong Silverleaf, and for my enchanter, Keshara. I need a last name for my enchanter. Any suggestions?

Computer I got my new computer on Monday and oh yes I'm so very happy. It's big. It's black. It's fast. And most of all... it runs EverQuest. Speaking of EverQuest... I don't know if anyone I know from EQ comes here and reads this stuff (cuz I know if they did, they'd leave comments since they love to talk so much, right? Right?) but I just want everyone to know how wonderful it was to see everyone again. I missed my friends and guild family, and it's nice to be back. Thanks for the warm welcome!
Searches I'm getting hits for odd things on my website still, but I'm not going to list them, because the more I do, the more I get hits for them. I'm still the number one listed site on Google for castration pics. <sarcasm>Whoopie</sarcasm> I was thinking about asking Google to remove me from certain searches, but it would probably pop right back up again unless I delete the original posts or losers, and I don't know that I want to do that.
Work We finally got new(er) computers at work. In addition to new(er) computers, they also got us new keyboards and new mice. Those sadistic bastards. (I'm probably going to be getting google searches for sadism now...) The new keyboards are these cheap ass black keyboards where all the keys have been moved around that we use for our job. Some of the keys I use the most are insert, delete, home, end, and the arrows. I guess in order to make the keyboard more "compact", they took all the function keys and made them half the size of regular keys and squished them all together, put home and end up above the backspace key, and made insert, delete, page up, and page down a vertical row in between the letters and the number pad. To fit this row, they had to move the arrow keys two rows down, so that they are next to and below the right ctrl key. I don't know if any of this all makes sense, but it's horrible. For one thing, we have to learn all our key positions over again. I'm just not used to looking at my fingers while I type. For another thing, since these keys are now in the most awkward of positions, Daryl and I went home with our hands hurting from trying to manage with these keyboards. Oh, and we're also getting a new manager, whom I've seen often around the office, and totally dislike her. You'd think with this much difficulty we'd get new jobs, wouldn't you. Maybe we're the ones that's sadistic, and not our managers.

LOTR I was just idling away some time reading some reviews on the Lord of the Rings movie. I have to stop now. I don't think I can take any more comparisions (by people who haven't read the book) of J.R.R. Tolkien to the Harry Potter books. Here's a quote from one. "I have to give the author credit. His ideas are different from Harry Potter, yet similar as well." Ugh. Don't get me started.
Another guy that reviewed it wanted to know "where's the sex?" as in sexual tension, carnality, and romantic stuff. Do people not realize that this movie is based on a book? Or do they think that the director should just have total free reign to insert anything they please in there? The whole bit with Arwen and Aragorn wasn't even in the first book. Isn't that enough free reign for you? The same guy then proceded to say that obviously this movie must be a children's film (you guessed, like Harry Potter) since there's no sex in it.

Hot Damn <dance>I'm getting a new computer.</dance> With some unexpected cash, Daryl and I decided to order a new computer for me since this one won't play games for shit. When we went to Best Buy, there was just one computer I couldn't stop drooling over, so I've ordered an Alienware system that should stay top of the line at least until I take it out of the box. The one I'm ordering isn't one of their pre-built systems, which also kick ass, but one made to order since there were some things I didn't want or need, and other things (i.e., videocard, RAM) that I wanted more of. It will have a Pentium 4, a GeForce 4 video card, 512 RAM (couldn't afford more), 60 gig drive, DVD-ROM, and it comes with a keyboard and optical mouse. Go me! Now if only it didn't take two weeks to build and deliver...
Netherlands Sorry I haven't made a bigger post. I just really haven't felt like it, and I haven't really needed to since my husband put up pretty extensive notes on his website. I'll be scanning pictures and putting them up under the (you guessed it) pictures area on my site.

Antwerp, Belgium We had a pretty good time in Utrecht. There wasn't a lot we could do since Sunday and Monday were National Holidays. After I last wrote we went to that huge mall to go to see a movie. I thought it was kind of odd that this big huge mall only had a theatre with 4 screens, 2 big and 2 smaller ones. Daryl said it's because the mall was built in the 70s. We took a bus about two blocks from the B&B Utrecht to the mall, which is where the Central Station is, and since we were early we got something to eat and some ice cream. The ice cream was home made. Daryl said it almost tasted like frozen custard. It was almond-hazelnut and I could've eaten twice as much as we did, it was so good. We went to see The Time Machine, which was *excellent*. It was a lot like seeing a movie in America because after we sat down there was a couple that came in and sat down right in front of us and whispered and made out for the entire movie, and the person at the end of the row had a cell phone that kept ringing. There wasn't really any sense in moving though, since it was a small theatre. After that we just walked around Utrecht for a while. There wasn't really anything to see, since everything was closed. We were going to go to McDonald's (whoopie) for something to eat, but right next to McDonald's there was an Italian restaurant that was open. We had to go down a narrow flight of stairs to get to it, and it was incredibly hot, since it seems that no where has air conditioning since it's never that hot out and just open the windows. It was a very authentic place, apparently family owned and operated, and very yummy. There was a guy walking around selling roses and polaroids if you wanted them. We ordered a carafe of Lambrusca, and I had a minestrone soup which was really good because it had cheese in it, and we split a greek pizza. One of our waiters didn't speak English, and had no idea what Daryl was saying when he asked for a bill, but our other waitress spoke English. We had the phrase book with us to read the menu and didn't need help with that.
We've been in Antwerp for three nights. We had only been planning on staying for two nights, but the room was the nicest we've had so far, and since we were going back to Amsterdam on Friday, we didn't want to worry about where we wanted to stay for the one night. The room was more like a hotel than any we've stayed at so far. The breakfast has been the same in every place; pretty much. Bread, cheese, butter, hard- or soft-boiled eggs, and muslix, corn-flakes, and chocolate frosted corn flakes. The only different thing they had at this place was the addition of sliced ham to go with your bread and cheese. The place was in the heart of an orthodox jewish area, and just a short walk away was something like a town square, where all the restaurants were. It was a very friendly area where all the family's met to talk and eat and watch the children play basketball.
On Wednesday, we went to the Antwerp zoo. I took pictures of as many things as I could, that I thought would show up. Thursday, we went to the historic district, which was a lot of fun. There were lots of beautiful buildings, and I took lots of pictures there too. Antwerp is right on a river, and there was a nice view from the riverside.
Today we're taking the bus back to Amsterdam. We had to check out of our hotel before 11, and our bus doesn't leave til 2:30, so that's why we're here. We're planning on going to a bar in Amsterdam tonight or tomorrow called Mulligan's. It's an Irish pub with live music all week. I think the guys from Utrecht are going to come up to Amsterdam and go to the pub with us, since they thought we were cool and wanted to hang out again before we go.
If my writing seems a little stilted, well, it is. The keyboard here is driving me nuts. The letters are in different places than I'm used to, and all the punctuation and numbers are in different spots. I'm having to watch my fingers as I type, and I feel like a hunt-and-pecker. I'm going to stop now before I throw the keyboard into the street in frustration.

From Utrecht, Netherlands Well, we've been here four days and haven't really been able to do a lot. On Friday, after we walked to the room and got situated we got something to eat and then tried to play Monopoly in the common room. Daryl was falling asleep over his money so we just went to bed around 8 o'clock. The room wasn't too bad. I don't think you guys would have liked it, but it worked for us. There was a bunk bed and a single bed. I slept on the bottom bunk and Daryl on the bed. The beds were pretty comfortable and we slept well, and they had feather down comforters. The comforters have removable covers that they take off and wash after you leave. The room had a chair and a sink and a nightstand, and when the curtains were drawn it was nice and dark. We were on the top floor and had to go up two flights of stairs, one of which was so narrow you, about half my foot would fit on it, so you had to be careful. We thought the rooms had private baths but they didn't, just a sink. There were 7 rooms upstairs, 3 common bathrooms, and 3 showers and were all really clean. The only thing I didn't like about the shower was that instead of having a faucet, there was just a button that you pushed. There was no way to adjust the temperature of the water, it was just steaming hot. It would stay on about 15 or 20 seconds and then you'd have to push it again. Of course, it was a good way to make sure no one took long showers. All the people that worked there were friendly and helpful, but most of the people there didn't really talk a lot beyond saying hello.
The second day we walked around Utrecht and went to the Dom tower and cathedral. That night we met a couple of guys that Daryl knew. They were the guys that came and looked at the second place we were staying to see if it was decent. We met them at an English style pub, and they bought all the drinks and snacks. They must've spent 100 dollars while we were there. We had lots of fun. It was a 70s and 80s dance night, so there was lots of singing and dancing, and I took pictures. They guys were really cool, but it was kind of funny how they would explain things to us like we didn't have it in America... like ziploc bags for example. So we'd just smile and nod instead of saying "well duh, we have that too." Daryl took him a 2.5 pound bag of chocolates and they were ecstatic. They brought Daryl a roll of the best selling brand of licorice and a (ziploc) baggie of mixed gummies and licorice. I drank way too much and spent Sunday sick. Of course, Daryl was fine. I don't think that all of my being sick had to do with drinking though, because I had said earlier to Daryl that I thought I was coming down with something and on Sunday I had a really bad sore throat and a bit of a fever. I was so thirsty and no matter how much I drank, it didn't help. I felt absolutely horrible. We couldn't have done anything on Sunday anyway, since it was Easter and everything was closed. We just took a cab from Strowis where we were staying, to the B&B Utrecht, which is where we are now, and I slept for most of the day. Then we went and had some Chinese, since it was pretty much the only thing open. Every time we've gone to eat, we haven't taken the phrasebook with us. So we've been ordering things that have been obvious... like anything that says "vegitarian", "kip" which is chicken, "croquets" and "omelets". The first restaurant we ate at was a little sidewalk cafe, and we ordered vegitarian croquets, and it was delicious! Last night I ordered a vegitarian omelet from the Chinese place and it was great too. It was a huge omelet covered in a tomato sauce. And Daryl ordered half a chicken in sauce.
The room in the B&B Utrecht isn't as homey as the one in Strowis, but I think I like it better. Again, it has the dorm style bunk bed and another bed. There's also a computer with high speed internet, a TV with cable, a table and two chairs, and a shower and toilet in a little side room separated by a shower curtain. The walls are paper thin, but I've been so tired I just slept through it all. They had a really impressive breakfast, and everything's available all day. There was several different cereals and milk, a machine that had coffee, tea, and hot water available all day, lots of bread, butter, jams, and jellies, hard boiled eggs, and there must have been 20 different varieties of cheese. The atmosphere among the people staying here was a lot more friendly than at Strowis, mainly because it's a small area, and instead of there being a dining area with tables and chairs, there's just one table with all the food on it that everyone sat around. We met people there attending a Pentacostal conference. One woman I talked to said it's an annual world-wide conference with people from America, Australia, Sweden, and all over Europe. A big to-do. We talked to people from Brussels and Antwerp in Belgium, and people from Spain, and Latvia. The two couples from Belgium gave us their numbers in case we needed any help or anything while we're in Belgium.
We can't really do anything today either. Apparently Monday is a big day off for most people and all the museums and attractions and everything are open from Tuesday to Saturday instead of Monday to Friday. We're probably going to go to the mall and to see a movie or something. The mall, which is where the train and bus stations are, is huge. It's one of the largest shopping centers in Europe. We had to walk all the way through it to get to the bar, because it was the easier way that David (the guy we met) knew how to explain to us. It was also the longest way possible. Turns out it was a lot easier just to walk around it, as we found out when they walked us back to the hotel. Anyway, before we went to the pub we stopped at a fast food type place and had some food and when Daryl went to get a soda from a machine he was propositioned by a drugged up prostitute. She was funny to watch. She'd like lift up a leg and put it back down and lift up the other while she was just standing and when she walked she'd list from side to side. David said that the mall is a big gathering place for the homeless and that after 2 o'clock they line the hallways in their sleeping bags. The security is tight and they're supposedly harmless, and during the hours that stores are open we didn't see any except the prostitute. Accordion music seems to be a big thing here too. There were accordion players busking in every hallway in the mall it seemed.
I've taken lots of pictures, and already used up a 12 exposure and half a 24 exposure of film, and we haven't really done anything yet. We've generally had a good time except for while I was sick and miserable and feeling all around sorry for myself. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the guys and we'll probably see them again before we leave. I guess that's it. Like I said, we haven't done a lot of tourist stuff besides walking around the streets, since most everything has been closed.

From Utrecht, Netherlands We just made it to the shuttle in time to catch the 2 o'clock shuttle to the airport. There was a *huge* line at the airport, even though the plane wasn't leaving until 8.30. They didn't search our luggage, but they made us check our bags because they supposedly weighed too much. I think they screwed us on that because there were people with bigger, obviously heavier luggage, and like 5 cargo luggages to check as well. The plane ride was pretty miserable for the most part. We were packed in like sardines. Daryl's headset for the in-flight TV/Radio didn't work. The seats were so small we could barely fit, and when the people in front of us put the seats back, it banged our knees. The movies for the first couple hours were pretty crappy (choice between prison movie, war movie, or indian movie), and it was almost impossible to sleep. On the plus side, the food was excellent, a small salad, bread and butter, cheese and crackers, a really yummy lamb curry on rice, apple tart, water, soda, and coffee or tea, plus we got a breakfast an hour or so before the end of the flight that was a roll, croissant, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee or tea, and the flight attendants were nice. Our luggage arrived with no prob, and we caught the next train out from Amsterdam to Utrecht and made it to our hotel with no problem once we stopped and got a map from a Best Western outside the train station. It was a little farther than I thought, but not too bad except we're both pooped since we've had next to no sleep in over 24 hours. Our rooms not ready for another hour, so we're going to store our luggage and go grab something to eat. The place certainly isn't a hotel, but it's a cute little coffee-shop looking place, like the coffee shop over by Belmont in Nashville that's in a little house. We haven't seen our room yet, but it's gotten good reviews. That's all for now. We're beat and hungry.

Trip Well, the house is tidied and we're ready to go. We're leaving tonight for the ride to Chicago and our plane leaves Thursday night. By Friday morning we'll be there. My husband and I will be putting up pictures on our websites while we're there, so keep an eye on our sites.
Message Box I took down my message box while I'm gone because I'm leaving my pager with my mother so I can send her little messages from Holland. I'll put it back up when we get back.

Gee, Thanks Dear
Isn't it just great knowing that a man coming to someone for help, acknowledging that he has a problem, is now being treated like a criminal and the only help he'll be getting is from the officers "helping" him into jail? Man, what a bitch.
Full story on Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Story summary from Sex News Daily.
An unnamed 28-year-old man without a criminal record was arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after writing to Dear Abby for advice. The man wrote that he'd been fantasizing about having sex with pre-teens, especially his girlfriend's 10- and 3-year-old daughters. Obviously, he was uncomfortable with his fantasies and wanted help. Abby, the dear, helped by contacting the Milwaukee Police. Who dutifully visited the man at his home. He acknowledged writing the letter but denied acting on his fantasies. Ever cooperative, the man allowed the police to search his computer. Where they found 40 pornographic pictures involving children. So they arrested him.

Trip For those of you that already know it from reading my husband's page, we're going on a two-week trip to the Netherlands at the end of the month. Daryl saved up for it without letting me in on it, and surprised me with it. We're planning on each going with only one carry-on sized bag. We got our bags at Walmart. They're backpacks with rollers. The telescoping handle is on the outside of the bag with a thick padding over the bars for when it's on your back, and there's a little elastic cover attached at the bottom of the padding for come out over the rollers when you want to wear it on your back. I've been having tons of fun buying bitty sized stuff to take with us, and rolling up clothes and things and putting them in my bag. I never would've thought that I could take everything I want in one backpack sized bag, but I already know that I'll be proud of myself when I do. We've already spent way too much, but there's not really anything I can think of anything that we didn't need. Two websites have been very helpful in picking what to pack: The Travelite FAQ and The Compleat Carry-On Traveler.
Google Searches I haven't put up any Google search terms that have lead to my page, so there's a lot of 'em this time. Remember what I said last time about getting hits for castration pics is "better than getting hits from searches on accidental goat sodomy"? I think I spoke too soon...
There's been quite a few hits for Lord of the Rings related searches. Speaking of Lord of the Rings stuff...
Sam Will Kill Him If He Tries Anything Someone on a mailing list I'm on posted a link to a site that's a parody of the Fellowship of the Ring movie. Visit The Very Secret Diaries to read just the "diaries," or visit Cassandra Claire's LiveJournal to read them as she originally posted them, and to read the reader feedback left in her comments. If you read them from The Very Secret Diaries site, read them in order from left to right, and if you read them from the LiveJournal site, make sure you go back to Monday, December 31st, since they're in reverse order. Happy Birthday to Me Okay, everyone gather around and congratulate me on not dying yet... or managing to live another year, depending on how you look at it. That's right, today I am the ripe old age of 22. It kind of sucks though, because there's nothing special about 22... or anything afterward except retirement. Goodie.
My parents took us all out for a nice dinner at restaurant/brewery called Hops, which was delicious. Then we all went to the mall to pick up a few things they needed, and then killed some time and bought some books at Barnes & Noble. Then home again for ice cream and yummy cake with real strawberry filling and icing. My parents gave me a gift certificate for clothes, since it's something I needed, and my grandmother gave me one of those completed "Grandmother" books, with memories and pictures. Very sweet. And my wonderful husband got me a hookah from the Middle Eastern restaurant we frequent in Nashville.
It's been a good birthday. Now I have to go finish a paper that's due Saturday. Ta.

Google I am now the number one hit for "castration pics" on Google. I am so sick of getting hits from that search. What has this world come to. Somebody make it stop...

Valentine's Day Ah, yes, yet another holiday everyone has the pagans to thank for... and the Christians to blame for ruining it. According to this page, Valentine's day was originally a celebration in honor of Juno, the Goddess of women and marriage. Girls names were put in jars and drawn by a young man and the two were "partners" for the festival. I bet that sucked for the girls that got stuck with the nerdy astrology geeks... Well, anyway, the Christians, being anti-erotic as they are, thought that it would be so much more fun for the celebrants to draw names of saints instead of names of girls... and emulate the saint's virtues for a year. Doesn't that sound like a lot more fun to you? Yeah, not to me either. And since the church had a saint that had conveniently been martyred on the same day as the festival's beginning, it became Saint Valentine's Day. So while you're all out celebrating your love for your significant other, be sure to thank the goddess Juno for the holiday, and the church for taking all the fun out of it. And if you don't have a significant other, you have the church to blame for that too, since if it wasn't for them, you could be drawing some hotties name out of a hat to "partner" with for a day.

Cassiopeia Woes I've had my Cassiopeia for over a year now and I've never had a problem, until the device crashed, wouldn't reset, and I had to do a full reset, thereby loosing all my info. This shouldn't be a problem, because you can do full backups through Microsoft ActiveSync, right? Wrong. The Cassiopeia's have a bug where they will start doing a backup and freeze somewhere in the middle of the process, so I could never do a full backup. The other day I was reading through the Cassiopeia's reviews on Amazon.com and saw that I wasn't the only person with this problem. One of the reviews mentioned a fix, so I wrote him and asked him about it. While I was waiting for a response from him, I started doing searches on the internet through Google on various search terms, checking different Pocket PC software sites, and the websites for Microsoft and Casio. I couldn't find a thing. I found several mentions of the bug, but no one seemed to have, or to know of a fix for it. The next day, the guy from Amazon wrote me back and sent me this link. It's all in German or something, but just scroll down and pick the processor that you have. The read me and install are in English. Or, you can click here and download the fix for the MIPS processor off of my site. He said you could apparently get the file by request from Casio as well. Of course, stupid me didn't figure out until after I lost all my data that under Start > Programs > Utility there is a program that comes preinstalled on the Cassiopeia's called Card Backup. It makes a complete backup to your Compact Flash memory card, if you have one, which I do. I felt like such an idiot. I could have made a complete backup the whole time. Well, since I bought my Compact Flash card anyway.
Another thing I learned from a review on Amazon, which should have been obvious to me, is to close programs that apparently have no exit button, bring up the keyboard and hit "ctrl+q". All this time I thought you had to go from Start > Settings > System > Memory > Running Programs > Stop All to close running programs that didn't have an exit. Or install that bTask program included on the Cassiopeia Software Applications disk. Oh well, you learn something new every day. Or at least once in a while.

What's I Think Is Wrong with America Today I started writing this at work as a rant to add to my essay section. Here's my rant so far.
We live in a Christianized, repressed society. It's evil and wrong to see sex on TV or let children see it in movies. It's evil and wrong and you should only share it with the one you love. But violence... Now there's another story. You know the tramp is the first to die. How dare she show her naked breasts. Here, let's rip out her intenstines. That'll teach her. We actually had a parent ask us if it was okay for our daughter to see an R rated movie because the R was "just for violence." Just for violence? I don't know about you, but I'm more offended by seeing someones internal organs that I am by external ones.
We live in a country where we are free to have our own opinions. And if your opinion is different from mine, well then you can just leave! And you can say whatever you want, but you better not hurt anyone's feelings. We have to be politically correct and non-discriminatory. So why is it that women joke about men and it's funny, but if men joke about women it's chauvanistic? Black people can joke about white people and it's humor, but if a white person jokes about a black person, it's racist. You can not like a white person and have that be a valid opinion, but if you don't like a black person, it's just because they're black. Please, crawl out from under the mask of race, and just accept the fact that I don't like you because of the way you act, not the way your skin is colored. Take responsibility for your actions and be more than your color. We live in a society where you can't stereotype by race, but you can by anything else. Gay? Wuss. Southerner? Redneck. Punk, artist, or in a band? Druggie. Under 18? Childish. Over 18? Automatically a mature adult.
You have freedom of religion, but you'd better love God, or you can just leave! Bunch of heathens. You have freedom of religion, just not freedom from it.
We have a president determined to wage a war on something that you can't even put a face to. A war on terror? Why don't we add love, rage, sorrow, and happiness in there and wage war on the full range of emotions. It's just an excuse to play a big video game with the world. Oh, look, what's this button do? All you terrorists better hide because... Oh... Wait, they already are. And we don't know where they are. Or who they are. Or how many there are. Or just about anything. But you better watch out, because we're going to get you just the same. Hey, while we're at it, why don't we pick on something else that can't fight back? How about plants. Oh, we've already done that, too.
Our attorney general wants anything with naked women or men covered up, and it doesn't matter if it's a beautiful work of art, because naked people are just wrong. He also thinks calico cats are the minions of Satan.
These are the leaders of the "free" world. Scarey, isn't it.

Lord of the Rings Daryl and I went to see the Lord of the Rings movie Saturday night. It was, as I expected, wonderful. The scenery was beautiful, the monsters were convincing, and some good camera work was done with the hobbits. The hobbits were adorable, and I said "They're so cute!" so many times that Daryl finally told me that no, I couldn't take one home with me.
Of course, like every movie based on a book, there were discrepancies, but nothing major and the point still got across. For example, with the tentacled monster at the gates of Moira. In the book, they didn't really see it or fight it. They just hacked at a tentacle and ran inside. But in the movie they fought it and it chased them in, causing the entrance to collage. Also, in the book, Frodo figures out Gollum is following them after they left Lothlorien, and Strider tells him that it had been following them him that it had been following them since they entered Moire. In the movie, Gandolf told Frodo that Gollum was following them while they were still in Moira.
Ian McKellen did a wonderful job playing Gandolf, getting across a perfect mixture of grumpiness and wit and power. Frodo was also excellent, as were all the hobbits. I recognized Bilbo from The Borrowers. I didn't like a few of the cast choies though. The guy that played Elrond did a great job, but I didn't feel he looked the part. I just didn't expect one of the fair, immortal elves to have a receding hair line. Galadriel was the opposite. She looked the part, but wasn't played correctly, in my opinion. Galadriel was wise, gentle, and at peace with her lot in life. But in the movie she seemed creepy and a little evil. Daryl, not having read the book, thought she was a bad guy at first. And I thought the special effects they used when she spazzed out over being offered the ring were just messed up. I also thought they should have showed that she wore one of the three Rings of Power that were given to the Elves. I think they showed her wearing one in the opening sequence, but by the time the Fellowship got to Lothlorien, I couldn't remember if they did or not. I was also disappointed that they didn't show all the gifts that she gave the Fellowship. The only other actor I wasn't all that fond of was Legolas. He certainly looked the part of an Elf, and did a good job with his part, but I thought he had this slightly confused look all the time that was kind of funny.
Also, I haven't read the second book yet, so I didn't know about the orc attack, Merry and Pippin getting captured, and Boramir dying, so that was a bit of a surprise.
All in all, it was excellent. If all three movies keep that level of quality, it is destined to be the next classic, like the Star Wars trilogy. Besides, any movie worthy of two new songs by Enya can't be all bad.

Nekkid EverQuest Hello out there to the guy that found me by searches for naked everquest pics. The funny thing I found out is that there is a bug in EQ where you characters really can be seen nekkid. Here's some pictures. The bad news is that it's about the equivalent of looking at a Barbie or Ken doll. Sorry. Of course it's possible that the bug is a hoax and I'm perpetuating the myth... but who cares. Nekkid EQ people are nekkid EQ people.

Lots of Hits Well, it seems that the major attraction to my site right now is... castration. Yes, that's right. Castration. A lot of the hits that I'm getting from Google are searches for castration pics. Bunch of sickos. I suppose it's better than getting hits from searches on accidental goat sodomy, but not by much. Just once (or maybe a few times) I'd like to get a hit that isn't from someone looking for porn. There's no porn here, folks. Move along, people... move along.
Work I think my work has finally figured out that people work harder when there's an actual goal in sight and the workers feel like they're actually getting something accomplished. Duh. Usually there's so much work to do there's no hope of running out. But today it was like they were dangling a carrot in front of our collective noses. We'd be just about to run out of work, just starting to feel a little hope, when they would dump in a little more work. So we'd be just about to finish that up and they'd dump in a little more. No, wait... I'm giving them too much credit. Our managers aren't that intelligent. They aren't trying to get us to work harder. They're trying to drive us insane. Hah! Well I've got them fooled. They're too late!

Outcrowd Hmmm... Outcrowd.org linked to me. I was confused, but flattered. Then I figured (or rather, my husband figured) that they saw a referring link from my page to theirs in their Sitemeter referring links status page.
Birthday My husband tried it, so I figured what the hell. He put a link to his Amazon.com Wish List, and someone actually bought him something off it for his birthday. So if he can get something from a total stranger for his birthday, why not me? My 22nd birthday is coming up on February 28th, so here's mine. Feeling generous? Come on... you know you want to.
Greymatter My husband's switched his blog over to something called Greymatter, which apparently runs off your own server, rather than someone elses, like Blogger. I really like Blogger... it's easy to use. But I can see the advantages of running it myself, from my own site. For one thing, Blogger has been down a lot lately, and was recently hacked into. If I ran it off my own site, it would only be down when my site was down, and isn't such a big target for hackers like Blogger is. Plus, in addition to being able to leave comments, you can vote on entries. Maybe I'll switch over to it. When I feel like putting that much effort into it.

Nifty Site Outcrowd.org. I don't know how I found it. I don't care. It doesn't matter. And don't tell them I sent you... because they don't know who I am anyway.

Lord of the Rings I was at work today and overheard a conversation between the people sitting in front of me about movies. Then the guy that was talking said that he wanted to see Harry Potter. The other three women agreed, and then he said something along the lines of "You know, that's based on a book. My little sister got the set for Christmas". Which then led to one of the women saying, "My sister wants to see that movie about rings or something... I don't know what it's about. What's that movie called?" "Lord of the Rings I think," replied another woman. Then the guy piped up, "Naw, naw... it's King of the Rings."
So tell me, exactly what planet have these people been living on? Not only is Lord of the Rings a classic book, but the movie has been highly publicized. It's a major motion pictures event practicly. Sometimes my co-workers amaze me.
I bet if Destiny's Child was in it, they'd know what it was called and every possible detail about it.

Cat Resolutions I don't usually post stupid stuff that people generally forward to one another ceaselessly, but some of these made me giggle as I thought of the antics of my own cat and I wanted to share. So rather than e-mail to every person I know, I just put them here so people don't have to read them if they don't want to. These came off a message board on HollyLisle.com.
- I will not sniff at my male human's feet after he takes his shoes off, freeze my mouth open in disgust and then sniff my private parts to compare odors. My female human might find it amusing, but my male human does not appreciate it, especially in front of company.
- I will not slurp fish food from the surface of the aquarium.
- I will not perch on my human's chest in the middle of the night and stare into her eyes until she wakes up.
- We will not play Herd of Thundering Wildebeests Stampeding Across the Plains of the Serengeti over my humans' bed while they're trying to sleep.
- I cannot leap through closed windows to catch birds outside. If I forget this and bonk my head on the window and fall behind the couch in my attempt, I will not get up and do the same thing again.
- I will not assume the patio door is open when I race outside to chase leaves.
- I will not back up off the front porch and fall in to the bushes just as my human is explaining to his girlfriend how graceful I am.
- I will not complain that my butt is wet and that I am thirsty after sitting in my water bowl.
- I will not stick my paw into any container to see if there is something in it. If I do, I will not hiss and scratch when my human has to shave me to get the rubber cement out of my fur.
- Yes, there are still two very large dogs in the back yard. There have been for several years. I don't have to act as if I've just discovered the Demon Horror of the Universe each time one of them appears in my window.
- I will not play "dead cat on the stairs" while people are trying to bring in groceries or laundry, or else one of these days, it will really come true.
- I am a walking static generator. My human doesn't need my help installing a new board in her computer.
- I promise I will meditate more closely upon the causal relationship between going dumpster diving on Sunday afternoon and projectile vomiting Monday, and being brought to the Evil Place Where They Stick Things Up My Butt on Tuesday evening. I realize that if I hadn't done the first, none of the other things would have happened.
- I will not be miffed at my human all day and then kiss her on the nose at 2:00 a.m. to tell her that she is forgiven and can now pet me.
- I will not scratch the children of lawyers, no matter how much they chase me or how hard they pull my tail.

Hotmail "Virus" My husband got a new kind of "virus" in his e-mail a few days ago. Apparently it only goes to web-based e-mail accounts like Yahoo! and Hotmail. I wouldn't call it a virus in the sense that it infects your computer and screws things up. Rather, it's more of an e-mail scam. The reason it is only sent to web-based accounts is that it says your conenction timed out and you must re-log in, and then gives you the name and password screen just like you were logging into Hotmail. What it then does is send your user name and password to whoever the guy is that started the scam. For more information, and a picture of what the e-mail looks like, visit tpoh.org: Serious Hotmail Password Scam

You Know You've Lived In The South Too Long When... My husband was driving to work the other day, and I was looking out the window and saw that the field across the street that usually houses cows and noticed that the fence was wide open. Not really thinking about what I was saying, I said "Didn't there be cows in that field?" Someone save me...
