Fri5: You have just won one million dollars:
1. Who do you call first? Well, I'm assuming my husband would be there with me when I found out. If not, I would call him first. Then my parents. Then Robbie.
2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself? The first thing I'd do is pay off bills. Like, my car and my credit card. But the first thing I'd buy myself... would probably be an Alienware Area 51m Laptop gaming system.
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else? Again, I'd probably pay off my parents bills or something first. I'd probably buy my dad a new truck like he wants.
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom? I'd give some to family, and some to Robbie. I'd probably donate to some charities if they appealed to me.
5. Do you invest any? If so, how? I don't know much about investing, so probably not. Unless it was like, a savings account in a bank or something.

What Wings Do You Have?

DragonWings

Your wings are DRAGON wings. Massive and covered in scales, they shimmer with strength and magic. They are the most obvious display of your power - though it runs equally throughout your heart and mind. You are uncompromising and grave, with a profound sense of justice. You have firm ideas about what is right and what is wrong and set out to fix what problems you can. You realize that you are more capable of dealing with life and evil than most, and as such you see it as your responsibility to protect those who cannot defend themselves. You have existed since antiquity and as such you are wise far beyond your years in this lifetime. While you strive for fairness and peace, if someone should steal from your cave of treasure (though not all that glitters is gold) or compromise the happiness of you or one who is close to you - they have signed their death warrant. You have a mighty vengeance and will unleash it upon such people immediately and mercilessly. Arguing with you is useless... you rarely back down and are known for holding firm in your beliefs. Sometimes you feel intensely burdened with the troubles of thers...acting as a Guardian can get so wearisome. But you never give up...you see it as your life's mission. Often very introverted, you can be so smart...it's scary. Such a combination of intelligence, creativity, power, beauty, and magic is often intimidating to those around you - who are also unlikely to understand you. Arrogant, proud, overserious, and sometimes a bit greedy or obsessed with whatever treasure you choose to pursue... you have enchanted people for centuries, and will continue to do so.

I can't possibly get it all though, as I only get IP numbers on spam that is returned to me from invalid emails. If you have recieved spam from an address claiming to be from my domain, please go to SpamCop and look up the owner of the IP and report it to the appropriate people.

Fri5: At this moment, what is your favorite...
1. ...song? Geez, it varies from one moment to the next. Um... Evanesence's "Hello" right now I think.
2. ...food? Tiramisu. Or baklava. Mmmm....
3. ...tv show? Star Trek: The Next Generation! at this moment.
4. ...scent? Sandlewood.
5. ...quote? "The world is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud. And it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: 'Is this real? Or is this just a ride?' And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and they say 'Hey! Don't worry, don't be afraid - ever - because... this is just a ride.' And we kill those people. 'Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride! Shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry; look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real.' It's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that - ever notice that? - and we let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because... it's just a ride, and we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort. No worry. No job. No savings and money. Just a choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy bigger guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, into a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defense each year and, instead, spend it feeding, clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would do many times over - not one human being excluded - and we can explore space together, both inner and outer, forever. In peace." -- Bill Hicks, comedian, 1961-1994

Inner Dragon
I am a A Mist Dragon!

Hey, I took the http://dragonhame.com online Inner Dragon quiz and found out I am a Mist Dragon on the inside.

In the war between good and evil, a Mist Dragon tends to walk the fine line of Neutrality....

When it comes to the powers of Chaos vs. those of Law and Order, your inner dragon walks a fine line between Law and Chaos....

As far as magical tendancies, Your inner dragon has the ability to conquer the world of magic, but it will not be easy....

During combat situations, a true Mist Dragon prefers to defeat opponents by the use of spells and other tactics....

The Mist Dragon is a highly magical being. It makes it's home in moist areas, but seems to have the ability to appear in any fog or mist in any climate. It is unclear as to whether these dragons follow mist, or mist follows these dragons.

The Mist Dragon is a grayish blue in color, and floats freely in air as though it were mist itself. The Mist Dragon never leaves tracks or traces of it's passing. These dragons move very gracefully and swiftly through their element.

Mist Dragons are very free in nature and seem to be very unpredictable personalities. They are outspoken, and often are harbingers of great changes or happenings.

This Dragons favorite elements are: Willow Trees and Blue Agate

Fri5 Here's a quick one, since I've missed the last couple.

1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails? Always keep a song in your heart. It's like karaoke for the voices in your head.
2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be? I don't recall having a senior quote, and my yearbook is at my parents, so I can't check.
3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say? Nothing comes to mind. Not that I would pay all that extra just to get vanity tags.
4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say? No.
5. What would you like your epitaph to be? Another one I haven't thought about really. I don't wish to be buried anyway, I want a cremation, so it's rather pointless.

$*#&@ Some asshole spammer is using my domain to send out spam. Charming. He/she/it puts in random letters @alliekat.net as the return email address. So not only is my domain going out in all this shitty spam, I'm getting a shitload of returned emails to my domain from addresses that the shitty spam's being sent to that doesn't exist or has blocked their email. Great.

We'll Miss You My Aunt Frances died yesterday. My granny took it hard. They were as close as sisters, even though she was only related by marriage. My mother took it almost as hard. She was a good woman. She was healthy and strong up until about the last month. She had a cattle farm, that she still took care of with help from her nephew. She often had dinner with my family, or just came to visit. My granny and her talked on the phone every night without fail. She started having a backache that the doctor diagnosed as arthritis. When she went into the ER, they found that she actually had a kidney infection. The infection had gone so long undiagnosed that the infection had entered her blood stream. She didn't even make it through dialisys. She was 83 years old, and lived a good long life. But she shouldn't have died like that.

Beer for the Homeless I had the TV on last night, not really watching it, and the Fox News at 9 was on. I saw the news on this program. Basically, it was a service to give beer to the homeless. Their reasoning was if they were provided beer, then perhaps they wouldn't pan-handle for money for beer. Anyway, what really caught my attention was the station manager's editorial. His argument against this project wasn't "the money would be better used feeding and clothing them" or anything like you (or at least I) would expect. His statement was simply "Providing beer to the homeless? What next? Providing crack for addicts?" This totally boggled my mind. It struck me as such an ignorant statement. He couldn't use a rational reasoning to oppose this project, or even try. It was just an asinine statement, in my opinion. Does he then compare all beer-drinkers with crack-addicts? Or only when it suits him. Or perhaps that beer should be illegal like crack? No telling what his reasoning was.
