Computer I got my new computer on Monday and oh yes I'm so very happy. It's big. It's black. It's fast. And most of all... it runs EverQuest. Speaking of EverQuest... I don't know if anyone I know from EQ comes here and reads this stuff (cuz I know if they did, they'd leave comments since they love to talk so much, right? Right?) but I just want everyone to know how wonderful it was to see everyone again. I missed my friends and guild family, and it's nice to be back. Thanks for the warm welcome!
Searches I'm getting hits for odd things on my website still, but I'm not going to list them, because the more I do, the more I get hits for them. I'm still the number one listed site on Google for castration pics. <sarcasm>Whoopie</sarcasm> I was thinking about asking Google to remove me from certain searches, but it would probably pop right back up again unless I delete the original posts or losers, and I don't know that I want to do that.
Work We finally got new(er) computers at work. In addition to new(er) computers, they also got us new keyboards and new mice. Those sadistic bastards. (I'm probably going to be getting google searches for sadism now...) The new keyboards are these cheap ass black keyboards where all the keys have been moved around that we use for our job. Some of the keys I use the most are insert, delete, home, end, and the arrows. I guess in order to make the keyboard more "compact", they took all the function keys and made them half the size of regular keys and squished them all together, put home and end up above the backspace key, and made insert, delete, page up, and page down a vertical row in between the letters and the number pad. To fit this row, they had to move the arrow keys two rows down, so that they are next to and below the right ctrl key. I don't know if any of this all makes sense, but it's horrible. For one thing, we have to learn all our key positions over again. I'm just not used to looking at my fingers while I type. For another thing, since these keys are now in the most awkward of positions, Daryl and I went home with our hands hurting from trying to manage with these keyboards. Oh, and we're also getting a new manager, whom I've seen often around the office, and totally dislike her. You'd think with this much difficulty we'd get new jobs, wouldn't you. Maybe we're the ones that's sadistic, and not our managers.
