By the Way...

To the asshole that posted a virus in my guestbook a few days ago, in the words of the marvelous Bill Hicks: "Kill yourself. Thank you. Just planting seeds, planting seeds is all I'm doing. No joke here, really. Seriously, kill yourself, you have no rationalisation for what you do, you are Satan's little helpers. Kill yourself, kill yourself, kill yourself now... Suck a tail pipe, hang yourself... borrow a pistol from an NRA buddy, do something... rid the world of your evil fuckin' presence."

ARGH! Liberals...

Well, let me start by saying that I listen to Air America Radio while I'm at work. I enjoy listening to the liberal talk shows, and it gets me through the day. I get sick of music, and the talk shows keep me generally angry at republicans and awake! One of the shows, Mike Malloy, has a intro line that says "If you're not furious, you're not paying attention," or something similar to that; which pretty much sums it up. Anyway. As I was listening to a call-in segment on the showMorning Sediiton, hosted by comedian Mark Maron and veteran radio personality Mark Riley, I realized something. I get so pissed at liberal thinking persons yelling at each other! It seems like a lot of what I hear on AAR involves callers just calling up to say "I agree with you but..." and then adding phrases like "You shouldn't say 'Christians' in such a general way because it alienates liberal Christians" or "You shouldn't say Christians, because those people aren't Christians" or "You shouldn't use the phrase pro-life, because that's giving in to the Right Wing rhetoric!" Why are we attacking each other... over phrasology?? How about redirecting your righteous anger about the neo-con wing of Republicans that are the ones giving the bad name to Christians? Why not focus your anger about anti-choice republicans toward the... now here's a unique thought... the REPUBLICANS! This attitude just infuriates me! It seems so pointless and self-deating. A liberal talk show host using the word "Christian" without adding a disclaimer every time he or says it is not the problem. The people that are corrupting the teachings of Christ and using them for political gain are. Stop complaining about how the left is using the right wing rhetoric and focus on the real issues. Stop self-defeating and obfuscating! I am so sick of hearing, "Well I'm a liberal Christian and I'm offended by you lumping all Christians in with the right wing conservative Christians" and blah, blah, blah... Use your f'n head! Do you really think that the other listeners of the show don't realize exactly who the host is referring to? ARGH!

Har!

I saw the funniest thing today, or at least it was to me. So... I was at the grocery, and on the way back to my car I walked past this little white truck with one of this conversation bubble suction cup thingies with "humourous" statements on them in the back window. It said "Faster than a speeding ticket!". As I walked by I looked at it and thought, "Heh, I wouldn't bet on it." I made one more stop on the way home, and then as I finally headed home, I drove past the same little white truck, parked on the side of the road, with a police officer giving him a speeding ticket.

So I guess the moral of the story is: Don't put anything in your window to tempt fate... or police officers.
